"I am a very "young" 76 year-old guy with a fairly active lifestyle. I swim for about 30 minutes every day and try to go for a 2 or 3 mile interval walk/run each day as well. Knowing how the inevitability of time wears at the body, I decided I would experiment with the idea of hiring a personal trainer to help me stay in as healthy a shape as possible-- for as long as possible. "In 2007 while staying at the Four Seasons on Maui. I booked a trainer for ten days- any old trainer. I got Catherine, and every year since, I have booked Catherine for ten days, 90 minutes a day. By my simple math that is 8 years times 10 days times 90 minutes a day, or about 120 hours. . I would not use anyone else, because, quite simply, Catherine is AMAZING - as a trainer and as a person. As a trainer, she quickly defines your needs and goals, and sets out to make you meet the goals and match your needs. She pushes you the right amount, all the while being sensitive to your limitations. While, at the same time, encouraging you to go beyond them. She seems to have just the right attitude for a trainer - tough, but understanding.
As a person, I can't say enough about Catherine. She is smart, fun, and nice. I am fortunate to have gotten to know her a little bit over the last 8 years, and she genuinely cares about the well- being of her clients. She has encouraged me to email her with questions or concerns, I have about training when I am away, and I have consistently done so. Her responses are thorough and thoughtful.
